SMID decoder

Description

SMID Decoder is a tool used to decode message identifiers (SMID, FSMID, ESMID, or USMID) sent to specific recipients.

Connection Setup

By using the identifier of a message sent to a particular recipient, you can retrieve detailed information about it. In the main menu, select Tools — Message ID decoder:

Paste the message identifier (SMID, FSMID, ESMID, or USMID) into the corresponding field and click Decode. Depending on the identifier type, the result may include information such as:

• date and time of sending,
• mailing and template,
• recipient database and segment,
• profile data,
• resource subscriptions, and other details.

Clicking an entity name will open the corresponding page in the Altcraft User Interface or Admin Panel.
