Connection to Facebook Ads
A connection to Facebook* Ads is required to configure the corresponding integration.
Step 1. Creating a Facebook App
To connect to Facebook*, the data of a Facebook* app through which the platform will interact with the Facebook* Marketing API is required. Create an app on the page https://developers.facebook.com/apps/. The app must be of the Business type. See the documentation here. |
On the app dashboard, in the Products section, add:

In the settings of the Facebook Login product, add the URIs specified in the new connection to the list of valid OAuth redirect URIs: |  |
Add the URI to this field: |  |
The app must have ads_management rights. In most cases, standard access will be enough (see getting permissions).
Step 2. Creating a Connection in Altcraft
Navigate to Settings —> Connections. Select the connection type Facebook Ads*: |  |
A list of all configured Facebook* connections will open. To add a new one, click + Create: |  |
In the general settings, specify the name and description of the new connection: |  |
Step 3. Pre-configuring the Facebook Connection
Before initializing the connection, fill in the form fields: |  |
Find the Application ID and Secret on the app dashboard in the settings: |  |
The API version can be viewed in the Settings —> Advanced section on the app dashboard.
Save the connection. The "Connect" button will then appear: |  |
Step 4. Initializing the Facebook Connection
Click Connect. A redirect to Facebook* will occur — log in under a profile that has the rights to manage messages in the target ad account. Rights to manage ads will be requested: |  |
Step 5. Choosing a Facebook Ad Account
Select an ad account for interaction with this connection: |  |
If an error appears, accept the specified agreements and click Update accounts: |  |
The connection is ready for use. Proceed to setting up the Facebook Ads Manager integration.
